What is confidence coaching?

Confidence coaching is a one-to-one relationship either during a personal session or as part of a group whilst attending a workshop. It is a way of supporting the individual in a non-directive way. Coaching is not a patch up job, it is not meant to be a temporary fix. It is life changing process which allows you to explore your ideas, fears, goals and challenges, to discover what has been holding you back, to challenge any limiting beliefs and then to replace them with new empowering beliefs and ideas. Coaching will enable you to come up with what you want and then:

• help you to clarify exactly what it is you want confidence for
• evaluate how possible it is to achieve it
• help you identify any obstacles you may have to overcome along the way
• look at all your options
• help you to set and achieve those important goals
• use 'tools' and techniques to assist you in moving away from fear of failure and towards confidence at your own pace.

How can you help me?
 
Your coach will be there to encourage, motivate and support you personally during your 1-1 coaching as well as your facilitator during your attendance at a one day confidence workshop.  You will be listened to and respected but they won’t tell you what you should do nor give you advice. Instead they will help you to identify and develop your strengths and recognise and challenge your fears.   Remember, coaching is NOT counselling, psychotherapy, mentoring or teaching. Coaches know you have all the answers locked away within you, you are the expert in your life. Your coach is the key to unlocking the answers to your confidence problems and challenges. They help you unlock doors in your mind you didn’t know were closed. Coaching is the perfect addition to any successful individual’s life.

Confidence coaching is for those who may already lead 'successful lives' (but not feel confident or keep putting important decisions or goals off) as well as for those who just don't see themselves as successful.  You may have good relationships both personal and business and be in a well paid career, however it may be that you feel something is missing, or that you see yourself as a 'fraud' who might be found out.  Perhaps it feels as if you are stuck in a rut, or that you have trouble juggling all the balls in the air at one time. You might believe you have had enough of waiting for things to change and have decided you want to take action, gain that confidence, banish procrastination, take responsibility, have more choice and get things done now.

Coaching helps develop and maintain confidence in your personal and business life.

What can I expect as a client or when attending a workshop?

A move away from having to use willpower, pushing yourself and trying hard versus moving towards, feeling guided, supported and naturally pulled towards what you want in your life. You can expect to gain self-awareness, identify what is important to you, how to plan for what you want, how to set goals that are realistic and achieveable and how to succeed at those important confidence goals. Coaching will help you to focus on what you want rather than on what you don’t want and then assist you in making the transition. 

How do I get started?
 
Preferably email or enrol NOW on the one day confidence, banish procrastination and success workshops.

You will receive an information pack by e mail, which will include a client profile sheet (telling me more about what you want) as well as a coaching agreement. You will then return your questionnaire by email and your contract agreement by post, prior to starting your sessions. This gives us a better understanding of what is going on in your life right now and what you want to achieve from coaching. It saves time and ensures you are on the right course of action. You can pay by cheque, paypal or BACS transfer. 

What happens after the workshop(s) and during a personal confidence coaching session?

Having attended your confidence coaching workshop you will want to continue the good work by working one to one with a fully qualified confidence coach.  During sessions, either over the telephone or during a one to one meeting, you will explore how far you have come and what your current confidence issue or goal is for the session. Through the use of powerful and effective questioning along with coaching ‘tools’ it will be possible to identify what is currently working well in your life, what is not working so well, what you want in your life and how to go about getting those things. With your coaches help:

• You will determine the confidence topic to be explored
• You will agree to set specific actions during each session, which you will act on over the coming week
• You will be made aware of any negative or limiting beliefs or language that you currently practise
• You will be listened to carefully and respectfully
• You will be supported during all the sessions
• You will never be judged nor criticised
• You will not be told what to do
• You can choose to have personal development exercises to do in between calls

Why is coaching cost effective?
 
After the workshop when working with your coach you will be helped to plan how you can get things done in the quickest and most efficient way possible each week or fortnight, you will take action each day/week (you decide) and start to bring transformation or change that you want into your life. 

It focuses on what is going on in your life right now and assists you in setting up action plans for success.
 
It is spaced at regular intervals so it can deal with your life issues, goals and situations on an ongoing basis.
 
It is always supportive and encouraging and is especially useful should you become disillusioned or unsure of your progress.
 
Remember the truism "if you continue to do what you have always done you will get the results that you have always got".
 
We all know life can be hard, but with coaching and time, you will find it life changing. All you need is a desire for change, an open mind and a commitment to take action. You will receive the right support for you to enable you to transform your life as you want to. As individuals we invest money in everyday pleasures such as: 

• a round of golf
• a visit to the hairdresser
• having a massage
• having your nails done
• eating out
• or any other number of luxury items

These treats are essential and well advised, however, the thrill of them is short lived, the ‘fix’ has to be repeated on a regular basis, and you still have to go back to the everyday grind of the life you currently live with nothing changed. How many sessions will I need after the workshop?

12 sessions are recommended, as it has been noted the most powerful changes are experienced over a 90 - 180 day period after a workshop, however, the initial agreement can be for six, nine or 12 sessions and add on sessions agreed to suit your needs.
